University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point Athletics

Somers posted three top-10 swims for UW-Stevens Point against competition from Division I, II and III at the Minnesota Challenge this weekend. The freshman won the 1,650 freestyle with a time of 16:15.32, was second in the 400 IM (4:13.51) and placed seventh in the 500 free (4:43.68). The only swimmers to finish ahead of Somers in the 400 IM and 500 free were Division I swimmers from the University of Minnesota.
