Pedersen posted the country’s 10th-fastest time in the mile run, winning the event in 4:14.28 at the Leonard “Squig” Converse Invitational at UW-Whitewater on Friday. The time was also a personal best for the junior. The 11th-ranked Pointers finished fourth in the team standings behind three other ranked teams.
