For the second week in a row, Britta Petersen, senior (Luck, Wis., / Luck), is the UWSP Women’s Basketball Athlete of the Week. In two games against nationally ranked opponents Petersen averaged 23 points a game. At conference foe UW-Whitewater, Petersen had game highs in points and assists while shooting 10-13 from the field in a tough Pointer win. Hosting 13^th ranked Illinois Wesleyan in a re-match of last year’s Sweet 16 game Petersen scored 22 points. Shooting 63% from the field Petersen also grabbed eight rebounds and dished out three assists.
