Crook pinned his way to a first-place finish at the Al Hanke Invitational to help UW-Stevens Point to a first-place finish as a team. The sophomore recorded three consecutive pins in 10:05 to earn the Most Pins Award for recording the most pins in the least amount of time. Crook pinned his first two opponents in 1:28 and 3:55, before pinning Harper’s Cory Pych, who is ranked No. 8 in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) rankings, at 4:42 in the championship match.
