Karty had three goals and an assist and scored the game-winning goal in each of No. 4 UW-Stevens Point’s two victories over two of the top-three teams in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) last weekend. The freshman notched a goal and an assist in a 6-2 win at Saint Mary’s (Minn.) on Friday night and added his first two-goal game at UWSP the next day in a 4-1 victory at Augsburg. In the win over the Auggies, Karty scored less than a minute into the second and third periods. He now has four goals and two assists in four games this season and was a +4 for the weekend.
