Somers won the 500 and 1,000-yard freestyles to lead UW-Stevens Point to a 176-67 win over UW-Whitewater in a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) dual on Saturday. Somers won the 500 free in 4:51.84 and the 1,000 free in 10:16.36 and was the only double-event winner in the pool for the Pointers.
