Picel recorded at least 23 digs in all three of No. 16 UW-Stevens Point’s matches last week, as the Pointers went 3-0 and clinched their seventh consecutive Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Tournament berth. The senior made 26 digs in a five-set win over Edgewood on Tuesday evening. Picel then made 24 digs in a sweep of UW-Stout on Friday and 23 in a sweep of UW-River Falls on Senior Day on Saturday. For the week, Picel averaged 6.64 digs per set and added 11 assists and three aces.
