Laffin totaled 116 assists in three victories for No. 16 UW-Stevens Point last week to help the Pointers clinch their seventh consecutive Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Tournament berth. The freshman started the week with 53 assists, one shy of her career-high, and 13 digs in a five-set victory over Edgewood. Laffin then recorded 31 and 32 assists, respectively, in sweeps of UW-Stout and UW-River Falls in conference play. For the week, Laffin averaged 10.55 assists per set and also totaled 19 digs, four kills, three blocks and one ace.
