Miller won the 1,000 freestyle with a time of 10:21.47 for UW-Stevens Point at its season-opening tri-dual against UW-Eau Claire and Division-II St. Cloud State on Saturday. Miller finished the event nearly six seconds ahead of any other swimmer. Miller also finished second in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:17.70) and was part of the second-place 400-yard freestyle relay (3:14.36). The Pointers defeated UW-Eau Claire 221-67 and fell to St. Cloud State 128.5-111.5.
