Sosinsky caught eight passes for 196 yards and a touchdown in UW-Stevens Point’s 35-27 loss to No. 6 UW-Whitewater on Saturday. The 196 yards were a career-high for the senior, one more than he had in the season opener against Albion, and were the most by a UWSP receiver since 2012. The senior got the Pointers on the board with an 86-yard catch and run late in the second quarter after UW-Stevens Point had dug a 21-0 hole. The 86-yard touchdown catch was UW-Stevens Point’s longest play from scrimmage since 2003.
