In her second season as a starter, junior defender Lauryn Semling, led the UWSP defense to their third straight shutout victory to start the 2010 season.  Semling shutdown three potent offenses, while moving the ball through the midfield to the attacking zone.  In the season opener against Gustavus Aldolphus Semling had one shot on goal and an assist.  Against Heidelberg Semling had another shot on goal
