Erickson made the most of his start this week for No. 11 UW-Stevens Point, throwing 5.1 innings of shutout ball in a 13-0 win over St. Scholastica on Sunday. The freshman held the Saints to five hits and one walk with four strikeouts. The win was Erickson’s fourth of the season, tying him for the team lead. He also threw 0.2 innings of relief against No. 3 UW-Whitewater on Wednesday, allowing one hit and striking out one. For the week, Erickson allowed six hits and one walk in six shutout innings with five strikeouts.
