University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point Athletics

Williams won the long jump at the Meet of Champions, hosted by Augustana College on Saturday. The sophomore took the individual title with a jump of 7.31 meters (23’ 11.75”), the second-best jump in the country this season. Williams’ win helped UW-Stevens Point finish second of 12 teams at the meet.

He also teamed with Jordan Richards, Matt Sosinsky and Matt Gerber to finish fifth in the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 41.87 seconds. The time currently ranks 15th in the country and is a season-best.
