VanVliet earned his first collegiate win at UW-Platteville on Sunday and threw eight scoreless innings of relief in three appearances this week for No. 6 UW-Stevens Point. The junior allowed just one hit in three innings and struck out three to earn the win on Sunday. Over the three appearances last week, VanVliet allowed just four hits in eight innings, walking one and striking out five.
