Flynn set the school record in the hammer throw by nearly three feet, finishing third in the event (53.41m, 175’ 3”) at the Rex Foster Invitational, hosted by UW-Whitewater on Friday. The junior’s throw was the fifth-best in all of NCAA Division III this season. She also placed in the top-five in the discus throw (42.10m, 138’ 1”) and shot put (12.40m, 40’ 8.25”) to help lead the Pointers to a second-place finish in the team standings.
