University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point Athletics

For the second straight week Jordan Schulte, sophomore (Mosinee, Wis., Mosinee), is the Pointer wrestling Athlete of the Week.  In the first dual meet of the season, Schulte defeated Ryan Renon of Lakeland 5-2.  At the Concordia Open, top seeded Schulte received a bye in the first round then defeated five straight wrestlers to win the 165 pound title. During Schulte’s championship run he earned two major victories with scores of 13-5 and 10-1.  On the season Schulte is undefeated with a record of 10-0.
