STEVENS POINT – The UW-Stevens Point Women’s Volleyball team accomplished a great deal in 2009 despite having one senior on the roster. The Pointers finished with 13-22 overall record, 3-5 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC). The Pointers increased their win total one game this season after finishing 12-23 last season. Perhaps the biggest improvement came in conference matchups, as the Pointers three wins this season show improvement from their 1-7 record in 2008.
