For 39 years, the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, in conjunction with over 50 local businesses, has celebrated the Central Wisconsin agriculture industry by raising awareness about the importance of agriculture locally and funding scholarships for students from the area.

Spud Hunt will start when gates open at noon. Find a golden wrapped potato and bring it to the Spud Tent to receive a prize, including gift cards to local businesses.

Any UW-Stevens Point student living within the Stevens Point service region, with an agriculture or farming background is eligible.  Each year, five scholarships of $1,200 are awarded to qualifying students.
