BERG GYMNASIUM

Home to the UW-Stevens Point women’s basketball, volleyball and wrestling teams, Berg Gymnasium provides an intimate home-court environment with 1,365 seats. The facility hosted the NCAA Division III women’s basketball sectional tournament in 2002 and 2011 and frequently hosts community and campus events. UW-Stevens Point is the only Division III school which boasts two separate facilities for its men’s and women’s basketball teams. The gym is named for George Berg, who coached football and men’s basketball in the 1940’s.
