Now’s the time to get involved with one of Division III’s most successful athletic programs as a corporate sponsor and help the Pointers continue their outstanding success. Reach students, community members and visiting fans.
The winning atmosphere brings big crowds and you can take advantage as a game sponsor or with signage at events. The sponsorship program has proved beneficial for businesses in the past and now you can join in the success or expand your current sponsorship level.

Game Sponsorship
Have your company’s name splashed all over Goerke Field, Willett Arena or Quandt Fieldhouse as a Pointer game sponsor. The opportunities are endless and up to your imagination. Your company gets four all-sports passes, a half-page ad in every game program and a major sponsor plaque.
In addition, you’ll get to sponsor one football, men’s basketball or men’s hockey game and plaster signs all over the arena, run a creative halftime promotion, set up a lobby display and have announcements read all night long. Those are just some of the ideas companies have done in the past, but it’s really whatever you choose to do as a Pointer game sponsor. Plus, all game sponsors have the opportunity to sponsor any other home sporting event at no cost.
Event Signage
The UW-Stevens Point facilities aren’t used solely for Pointer events, but for community and other college events as well. Have your company’s name proudly displayed in either the Quandt Fieldhouse or the Multi-Activity Center (indoor track, climbing facility).
The Quandt Fieldhouse is home to Pointer men’s basketball and wrestling as well as numerous major campus and community events, including the Sentry Classic, Shrine Circus, summer camps, intramurals and concerts.
The Multi-Activity Center is home to countless major indoor events as well as daily use by both students and community members. The MAC hosts several track meets, wrestling meets, intramurals, summer camps and the premier climbing facility in Central Wisconsin.
Booster Clubs
Big fan of a specific sport? Every UW-Stevens Point sport has its own booster club with various levels of membership and opportunities to obtain team merchandise. Booster clubs are perfect for individuals wanting to help out their favorite teams, but companies are also encouraged to become involved. Check out the staff directory on the website and contact the coach of the specific sport which you’d like to assist.
Game Programs
Create an advertisement in all of the Pointer game programs for the upcoming season. Your ad will appear in every football, men’s and women’s basketball and men’s and women’s hockey program for the upcoming year.
Target community members, students or visiting fans in a souvenir program. Give us your ad camera ready or we’ll design it for you. Contact David Foemmel at 715-342-5223 for program sponsorship opportunities. Game sponsors receive a free half-page in all programs.
Becoming a Sponsor
Becoming a UW-Stevens Point athletics sponsor is easy. Just contact either Athletics Director Frank O’Brien (715-346-3888) or Assistant to the Athletic Director David Foemmel (715-342-5223) and set up a program.
