KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced Tuesday (Jan. 23) that the UW-Stevens Point men's basketball team is its National Team of the Week for the Week of January 15-21.

The Pointers improved to 6-0 in WIAC play with wins at then-No. 2 UW-Whitewater on Wednesday and at home on Saturday versus UW-Platteville. The victories put UWSP two games ahead of the second-place team in the conference.
UWSP's opponents last week entered with a combined 27-4 record before facing the Pointers. Following last week's wins, UWSP is one spot outside of the top-25 in the latest D3Hoops.com poll.
Senior
MJ Delmore (Wisconsin Dells, Wis./Wisconsin Dells) had 19 points in the win at UWW and added 15 in the win over UWP to earn WIAC Player of the Week honors.
Nate Dodge (East Troy, Wis./East Troy) scored 20 against the Warhawks and
Canon O'Heron (Bangor, Wis./Bangor)'s 18 against the Pioneers was a career-high.
The Pointers close out the first half of conference play at No. 19 UW-Oshkosh on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
