STEVENS POINT, Wis. – Amherst Junction native and senior Logan Hermsen (Amherst Junction, WI/Amherst) celebrated senior night in his final appearance on the mat in Berg Gym with his team-best 13th pin of the year.  His fall at 2:27 in the 165 weight class accounted for all of UW-Stevens Point's scoring in a 40-6 loss to No. 2 Augsburg on Friday night.

In the 174 weight class, freshman Jordan Weinzetl (Kimberly, WI/Kimberly) went the distance in a narrow 8-6 decision loss.  Junior Dylan Diebitz (West Allis, WI/West Allis) also held his own with a loss by 4-1 decision.

Friday's dual wrapped up the regular season for UWSP's wrestling team.  The Pointers prepare for the NCAA Regionals slated to begin on Friday, Feb. 24, in Fort Wayne, Ind.
