In the third, the Pointers pulled to within five, 21-16, with 2:42 remaining in the period, but the Titans extended their lead back to seven after three and built their advantage to double digits in the fourth.

The Pointers defense held the Titans to just 26 percent (14-53) shooting from the floor, but offensively the Pointers could not get anything going, connecting on just nine field goals on the night (9-for-49)  including going 0-for-11 from three-point range.

The Titans advance to the WIAC title game for the third straight season, where they will face top-seeded UW-River Falls, who won its semifinal 53-47 over UW-Eau Claire.
