SOMERS, Wis. – Boone Roycraft (Omro, WI/Winneconne) and Bo Seibel (Cambellsport, WI/Kewaskum) each picked up wins for the No. 24 UW-Stevens Point wrestling team in a 35-7 loss to Division II No. 6 UW-Parkside on Friday evening at DeSimone Gymnasium.
 
Roycraft recorded an 11-6 decision over Brandt Welcher at 157 pounds, while Seibel earned a 14-0 major decision over Josh Anthony at 197 pounds for UW-Stevens Point (5-4). However, UW-Parkside (8-2) picked up wins at each of the other weightclasses outside of a double forfeit at 125 pounds.
 
Roycraft improved to 13-7 on the season and Seibel moved to 16-3 for the Pointers. Ben Vosters (Hatley, WI/Wittenberg-Birnamwood) lost for just the third time this season, wrestling at 133 pounds.
 
UW-Stevens Point wrestles at the Pete Wilson Invitational at Wheaton (Ill.) on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 29-30.
