Hennes shot 9-for-10 from the field, including 3-for-4 from behind the arc, in the game.

After trailing 7-6 early in the first quarter, the Pointers went on a 17-0 run to take a 23-7 lead. UW-Stevens Point held Finlandia scoreless for 5:50 seconds during the run. The Pointers led 51-24 at the half after making 7-of-10 three-pointers and never led by less than 25 points.

HISTORIC SCORING NIGHT
The 92 points UW-Stevens Point scored in the opener were the team's most since a 95-49 win over UW-Superior on Jan. 29, 2011, a span of 124 games. The Pointers had not topped 90 points since the same date. Last season, the most points the Pointers scored was 71 in a 71-59 win over No. 22 St. Norbert at home on Dec. 13, 2014.

WINNING IN NOVEMBER
Since the start of the 2006-07 season, UW-Stevens Point is 39-8 in the month of November. Last year, the Pointers were 3-3 in November but UWSP had won 35 of its 40 games in the month prior to last season.

UWSP VS. RANKED OPPONENTS
Last season's win over No. 22 St. Norbert was one of two wins UW-Stevens Point recorded against ranked opponents. The Pointers also topped No. 11 UW-Oshkosh 54-47 at home on Jan. 20, 2015.

UW-Stevens Point was 2-3 against top-25 teams a year ago and two of the losses were by eight points or less. The Pointers pushed defending national champion and top-ranked FDU-Florham to the final buzzer in a 60-58 loss at the D3hoops.com Classic after the Devils had won 41 consecutive games on Dec. 29, 2014. UW-Stevens Point lost 60-52 to No. 11 St. Thomas at home on Nov. 30, 2014 and 53-41 at No. 24 UW-Oshkosh on Jan. 24, 2015.
