STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The No. 6 (Division III) UW-Stevens Point wrestling team came up short against UW-Parkside 25-13 Tuesday night.

The No. 5 (Division II) Rangers (5-4) won the first four matches and jumped out to a 17-0 lead.

Lance Fabry (Ashwaubenon, WI/Ashwaubenon) put UWSP (12-2) on the board with an 8-4 win at 125 pounds.

Jordan Kust (Clintonville, WI/Shawano) won a tight match in the 141 pound weight class by a 1-0 score.

Shane Sweeney (Madison, WI/Edgewood) followed with a 6-1 win at 149 pounds, and Jamey Simmons (Abbotsford, WI/Abbotsford) came out on top 13-5 at 157 pounds.

The Pointers travel to UW-Whitewater for the Border Brawl on Saturday, Jan. 26 starting at 1 p.m.
