ANGOLA, Ind. – Sophomore Mary Welch (Madison, WI/West) carded a final-round 75 on Friday to finish in eighth place at the 2012 NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championship, hosted by Trine University at Zollner Golf Course.

Day Four Results

Welch carded a two-over 38 over the first nine holes and finished the final nine holes of the championship one over, including two birdies, to card a 75 (+3).

UW-Eau Claire's Catherine Wagner finished as the individual champion, one stroke ahead of Centre's Emily Bachert and Sarah Paulson and St. Olaf's Molly Erickson.

Methodist University won its 15th consecutive team title, finishing nine strokes ahead of DePauw University. UW-Eau Claire finished third.
