STEVENS POINT, Wis. – UW-Stevens Point head women's hockey coach
Ann Ninnemann recorded her 100th career victory on Saturday afternoon as the Pointers rolled to a 7-0 victory over the Lions of Finlandia University at Ice Hawks Arena.

The Pointers completed the weekend sweep of the visiting Lions, recording 19 total goals on the weekend, while UWSP goalkeeping did not allow a goal in two games.
Michelle Lunneborg (Richfield, MN/Richfield) started the scoring at the 11:49 mark of the game's opening period, as the Pointers capitalized on a Finlandia penalty.
Under a minute later,
Allie Tanzer (Chippewa Falls, WI/Chippewa Falls) made the score 2-0 Pointers, scoring unassisted.
In the second, the Pointers doubled their lead, going in front 4-0 with goals from
Nicole Schaub (Vadnais Heights, MN/White Bear Lake) and Tanzer's second of the day.
In the third,
Cassandra Salmen (Stillwater, MN/Stillwater) tallied two goals in the first six minutes of the frame, giving UWSP the 6-0 lead and
Janel Winters (Fairbanks, AK/West Valley) posted the final score of the day at the 14:30 mark to help the Pointers cruise to the 7-0 victory.
Sierra Dart (Kenosha, WI/Tremper) tallied the victory in net, stopping both shots on target she faced before giving way to
Janna Beilke-Skoug (Madison, WI/East) midway through the second period.
UW-Stevens Point (3-1-0, 2-0-0 NCHA) returns to action on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 9-10, with a pair of games against the Falcons of Concordia University (Wis.). Action Friday evening starts at 7:30 p.m.
