The UWSP Women's Soccer Team will be “Battling For A Cause” on Saturday, September 17th when they take on UW- Eau Claire at 1:00 pm. The Pointer's will be collecting items for care packages to be delivered to members of the U.S. military that are currently serving. The packages will be sent by Operation Homefront Wisconsin. UWSP soccer players will collect items the week of September 12th – 17th. On September 17th fans are asked to bring an item to donate to the Pointer's home match. The UWSP players will wear event T-Shirts that will be auctioned off after the game. All proceeds will go toward the purchasing of care package items.
Items will also be accepted during the week of September 12th – September 17th. Drop off bins will be located at the University Bookstore and Room 103 Health Enhancement Center.
