STEVENS POINT – UW-Stevens Point athletics has finalized its live radio broadcast schedule for the 2011-12 season, which currently features football and will include men's and women's basketball along with men's hockey. 
 
The Pointers will continue their relationship with Muzzy Broadcasting for all remaining football games, which feature UWSP Athletic Hall of Famer Scott Krueger on the call alongside UWSP grad Scott Bembenek on 1010 AM WSPT. 
 
1010 AM WSPT will also serve as the radio home for all 25 regular-season men's basketball games, with Scott Krueger and John Zellmer.
 
Weekend women's basketball conference (WIAC) games will also be broadcast on WSPT 1010 am and will lead into coverage of the men's games. 
 
In addition to the coverage for basketball and football, UWSP will partner for the first time with Sunrise Broadcasting and Sports Fan 100.5 (WDTX-FM) radio in Wausau for the broadcast of men's hockey. 
 
All 25 regular-season games can be heard throughout Central Wisconsin on the local ESPN radio affiliate.  Longtime voice of the Pointers hockey team Tom Weaver will be on the call alongside color analyst Shaun McMahon. 
 
All told, the package will provide live radio coverage for nearly 70 regular-season contests, and every broadcast will also be streamed online via each station's respective website, allowing Pointers fans from across the globe to keep tabs on their favorite teams.
