Former Pointer Jordan Zimmermann will make his 2010 debut for the Washington National on Thursday when he will be activated from the disabled list. Zimmermann will take Stephen Strasburg's spot in the rotation after the rookie was placed on the DL.

This will be Zimmermann's first start in the majors since July 18, 2010. The 24-year-old native of Auburndale posted a 1.59 ERA in 10 appearances in the minors, rehabbing from Tommy John surgery.
