MINNEAPOLIS - The UW-Stevens Point women's basketball team moves up one spot in this week's D3hoops.com Poll, coming in as the nation's No. 19 team in Division III.

The Pointers extended their winning streak to 10 games last week with a pair of victories. Last Wednesday, in a rematch of last season's conference tournament championship game, the Pointers picked up a 69-56 victory over UW-Eau Claire at home. On Saturday, the Pointers completed the season series sweep of UW-Oshkosh with a 60-54 victory.

The top seven teams in this week's pool remain the same from last week, as Illinois Wesleyan sits atop the poll with a perfect 17-0 record. WIAC foe UW-Whitewater ranks No. 22 in this week's poll. UW-River Falls, previously ranked No. 21, falls out of the top-25.

The Pointers (15-3, 7-2 WIAC) return to action on Wednesday, Jan. 27 when they travel to UW-Whitewater for a 7 p.m. match-up with the Warhawks. The Pointers close out the week hosting UW-Superior on Saturday, Jan. 30.
