STEVENS POINT - UW-Stevens Point tallied two victories, both by ranked wrestlers on the Pointer roster, but it was all UW-La Crosse as the visiting Eagles handed the Pointers their first Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) loss of the season, 25-7. 

The Pointers two lone victories on the night came at 184 pounds and 125 pounds, as second-ranked Ben Engelland (Neenah) recorded a 9-0 decision over Mitch Artist, earning the Pointers four points.  Tenth-ranked Joe Mileski (Gladstone, MI) earned the Pointers three points, recording an 11-9 overtime victory over Albie McKinney.

Several close matches dotted the landscape for both teams, with the Eagles recording the victories.

UW-Stevens Point (7-7, 2-1 WIAC) returns to action next week Wednesday, Jan. 20, when they travel to UW-Parkside for non-conference action beginning at 7 p.m. in Kenosha.
