WHITEWATER – Danelle Olson (Detroit Lakes, MN) led the way for the Pointer's Women's Golf team on Sept. 25, at the UW-Whitewater Fall Invite. Olson's score of 80 was good enough to earn her a second place finish in the tournament, five shots behind tournament winner Chelsea Davis of UW-Whitewater.

Olson shot a 40 on both the front nine and back nine. Jessica Urban (Hartland) led the tournament after the front nine with a score of 37 and finished the day with an 81, tied for fifth place. Mary Donohue (Portage) also finished tied for fifth at 81, shooting a 43 on the front nine and 38 on the back nine.

Olivia Scheifelbein (Johnson Park, IA) finished the tournament in 24th place with a score of 94.

The Pointers return to action on Sept. 26-27, when they travel to UW-Platteville for the UW-Platteville Fall Invite team tournament.
