STEVENS POINT - The final two spring matches of the season for the UW-Stevens Point women's tennis team have been cancelled due to unfavorable weather conditions predicted for the weekend. The matches were the final two of the spring schedule for the Pointers, who were scheduled to face St. Norbert and UW-Oshkosh on April 25.

The Pointers finish their 2008-09 campaign with a record of 9-5 overall, 2-4 in the WIAC.

UW-Stevens Point will kick off the 2009-10 season on Friday, September 4 with a home match against Carroll University, beginning at 3 p.m.
