On Homecoming Weekend, October 9th, 10th, and 11th 2009, UW-Stevens Point will be hosting what we hope to be the largest Swimming and Diving Alumni gathering in the history of swimming.

The focus will NOT be on the Alumni meet itself (11:00 am, Saturday Oct. 10th), but rather on getting Alums from all corners of the planet together in Stevens Point for the weekend. The Alumni meet itself will be for Alumni only (no current UWSP swimmers will be competing), and we will recognize all Alums present, regardless if they are participating in the meet or not. We are only hosting this event once every other year, so we hope that any and all Alums that can make it do so! Two years ago, we had over 120 Alums show up, most from the post-Red Blair era.

It is our hope that we top 250 Alums, and have a good turnout from those alums who swam for Red and before!

 At this point in time, we have planned the Alumni Meet as well as a grill out and bonfire Saturday afternoon/evening, but more festivities are in the works.
