MADISON - UW-Stevens Point senior women's golfer Jessica Urban, a native of Hartland/Arrowhead, has been named the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Women's Golfer of the Week for the second time this season.

Urban led the Pointers to their first team title of the season at the UW-Stevens Point Invitational held at Stevens Point Country Club on Oct. 3-4. She shot a 76 on day one to lead the field by three strokes. On day two, Urban shot a tournament-best 75 to finish 10 strokes better than the field and take home her third individual title of the season and her second straight UW-Stevens Point Invitational individual crown.

The Pointers will next travel to the Northern Bay Golf Resort & Marina on Oct. 9-11 for the 2009 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Women's Golf Championship. The defending champion Pointers will start their title defense at Noon on Friday.
