WHITEWATER-The UW-Stevens Point women’s cross country team finished fourth at the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Championships Saturday in Whitewater. The Pointers had three runner place in the top-25 on the day.
UW-Eau Claire took home top honors with 29 points and had all five runners finish in the top ten.
Claire Roberts (Oakfield) led the Pointers with a sixth place finish, posting a time of 22:41.
Allison Wolter (Kaukauna) was 15th with a time of 23:35.
Sandy Hause (Bruce) finished 24th with a time of 24:01.
Elsewhere,
April Sadogierski (Hatley) finished 30th with a time of 24:13 and
Shaun Krueger (Kiel) was 36th with a time of 24:30. Elsewhere
Sarah Glunn (Arbor Vitae) finished 37th with a time of 24:34 and
Nicole Bruhn (Marshfield) rounded out the top seven for the Pointers with a time of 24:41.
The Pointers return to action at the NCAA Midwest Regional on Saturday, November 14 in Oshkosh.
