SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The UW-Stevens Point men's cross country team posted all five runners in the top 30 on Friday afternoon as they ran their way to a fourth place finish out of 22 teams at the Notre Dame Invitational Gold Division.
The Pointers were led by
Joel Heroux (Sturgeon Bay), who's time of 25:11 was good for an eighth place finish.
Brandon Dworak (Denmark) finished 21st with a time of 25:31 and
Tim Thornburg (Delafield) finished in 23rd two seconds behind at 25:33.
Rounding out the top five for the Pointers was
Mark Mitchell (Franklin), who finished 24th with a time of 25:34 and
Terry Witkowski (Delafield), whose 25:36 was good for 30th.
The Pointers return to action on Friday, Oct. 10 when they travel to the Ripon Invitational.
