D3football.com All-West Region Teams

 STERLING, Va. – UW-Stevens Point defensive tackle Brad Vickroy (Wisconsin Rapids/Lincoln) (Jr.-Wisconsin Rapids/Lincoln) was named to the D3football.com All-West Region Third Team it was announced recently by D3football.com publisher Pat Coleman.

 The junior defensive tackle was a first team All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) selection this past season after leading the Pointers with 9.5 tackles for a loss. He was tied for fourth on the team with a total of 59 tackles with a sack and a fumble recovery this year. Vickroy was part of a defense that was third in the WIAC in fewest yards allowed per game.

 The teams were selected by West Region sports information directors and the D3football.com staff. There were a total of 195 nominations by Division III member schools. A total of 76 players were chosen. Eight WIAC players were chosen on the first team and a total of 23 players were chosen for the three teams.

 The West Region includes players representing the WIAC, Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, Midwest Conference, Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, Northwest Conference and Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
