ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - The UW-Stevens Point women's track and field team finished with 141 team points on Friday afternoon, good for fourth place at the Augustana College Augie Women's Invite.
Elizabeth Caine (Plover) took home two titles on the day, winning both the 100-meter and 200-meter championships. Caine finished the 100-meter in a time of 15.01 and the 200-meter in a time of 25.80.
The women's 4x100-meter and 4x400-meter relay teams both took home titles. The 4x100 team finished with a time of 49.33 while the 4x400 relay team finished with a time of 3:55.01.
Elsewhere,
Sara Kline (Casco) finished second in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.01 while
Allison Wolter (Kaukauna) finished second in the women's 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 11:30.6.
In the women's 400-meter dash,
Kathleen Folbrecht (Jefferson),
Laura Simonis (Rosholt) and
Kristin Kuber (Tomahawk) finished first, second and fourth, collecting 24 team points.
Kelly Haen (Kaukauna) and
Abby Ausloos (Plymouth) finished first and third in the 10,000-meter run with times of 38:49.37 and 40:20.83 respectively.
The Pointers return to action at the Drake Relays on April 24-25 in Dubuque, Iowa.
