University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point Athletics

The 2009 UWSP women's golf team finished as national runner-up, the highest team finish in program history.  Jessica Urban paced the team with a second-place individual finish, three strokes back, with a four-day score of 297.  Michelle Pascavis tied for 20th with a score of 325 and Nacheynah Green shot a 328 to tie for 31st.  Danelle Olson and Amanda Dlugopolski completed the scoring for UWSP with T-64th- (337) and T-75th-place (342) finishes, respectively.  Urban was named PING NGCA Division III Player of the Year.  The Pointers also won their second-straight WIAC Championship that year.
