In her four-year career at UW-Stevens Point, Nicole was a four time NCHA All-Conference selection, two time All-American and received the Conference Player of the Year honor in 2009. That year she was a finalist for the National Player of the year as well.  While finishing her career in the top three of ALL individual records at UWSP, Scholand is the record holder for most power play goals in her career (20), most shorthanded goals in a career (13) and most goals in a career (72). Nicole also left her mark in the NCAA record books at 9th for most shorthanded goals in a career, 7th in shorthanded goals in a season and 10th for power play goals in a season. During her UWSP career Scholand was a part of one NCHA regular season title, two NCHA playoff title and two third place finishes in the NCAA tournament.
