The 1983 NCAA All-American relay team garnered many accolades during their 1983 outdoor campaign. This schoolrecord setting group still holds the UWSP 4x400 record with a time of 3:10.99. They also won the event at the WIAC Outdoor Championships as well as placed 3^rd at the Drake Relays where they were beaten only by NCAA Division II scholarship programs.
