- Conference champion in the 100 freestyle, 200 freestyle and 400 freestyle relay in 1968

- Set conference records in the 200 freestyle and the 400 freestyle relay

- Won the first ever gold medal by an American cross country skier in the 1992 Winter Disabled Games in Albertville, France with wins in the 5K and 10K events
