- Shared the school’s single-season record for interceptions with nine in 1985

- Totaled 22 career interceptions

- Earned honorable mention All-American honors in 1987 by the NAIA and Football News

- Two-time All-Conference defensive back in football and first-team All-Conference first baseman in baseball
