- Worked at UW-Stevens Point for 17 years, including five years as the school’s Director of Athletics from 1983-88

- Coached the Pointer men’s cross country and track and field teams from 1971-77, leading his teams to two WSUC outdoor championships and one indoor title

- Served as Business Manager for the athletics department before his stint as Athletics Director

- Director of Athletics at Minnesota State University-Mankato following his time at UW-Stevens Point
