Cody Childs was a 2003 to 2006 football standout for the UWSP Pointers. Childs was a WIAC second-team pick in 2003 and 2005 and a first-team pick for 2004 and 2006. Childs also holds four main, top-five records with UW-Stevens Point football. These records consist of third in most career rushing attempts with 487, third in total rushing touchdowns with 24, fourth-most receptions with 193 and second with most points scored in a career with 228. With his impressive statistics over his four-year career, Childs finished off his football career by playing for the 2007 USA World Football Championships.
