Chase Gross swam for the Pointers from 2005 to 2009. From the beginning, Chase was fast to collect medals, titles and commendations from the WIAC and NCAA. Chase won 11 WIAC Championships as an individual and 12 WIAC Championships in a relay. He was a six-time NCAA Individual All-American, a six-time NCAA All-American in relays, a three-time NCAA Individual Honorable Mention All-American and an eight-time NCAA Honorable Mention All-American in relays. Chase was named the 2009 WIAC Athlete of the Year and earned WIAC Swimmer of the Meet in 2008 and 2009. Chase currently ranks third in all-time program history for the NCAA All-American accolades. The UWSP men's team won the WIAC Team title all four years of Chase's career.
