Chad Robran was a competitor for the 1990 to 1994 indoor and 1994 to 1996 outdoor track and field programs at UW-Stevens Point. Robran holds the 400-meter hurdle record with a time of 50.34 seconds. He is a four-time WIAC champion in four different events and was the UWSP Male Athlete of the Year award recipient in 1996 due to his success on the track. As a five-time All-American, it is no surprise he wanted to remain in the track and field world by becoming Rockford (Minn.) High School's head track and field coach. Robran coached part-time for 21 years while running two medical device companies.
